The opposition forum for democratic change FDC presidential race nomimees now stands at 5 after the former legislator Patrick Oboi Amuriati picking the forms on Wednesday afternoon.
Amuriate who is purportedly one of party defiance radicals through the deputy Secretary General Harold Kaija picked the forms at 3pm.
This means that Amuriate will contest against incumbent Maj Gen Mugisha Gregory Muntu Oyera who is aspiring for the 2nd and last term as the party president.
Other aspirants who have already picked forms include Malcom Dan Matsiko, Mubarack Munyagwa Sserunga, Byamugisha Moses who all picked the forms on Monday morning and the party SG Nathan Nabdala Mafabi who through the FDC Lubaga secretary for mobilisation and information Joel Kabali picked his forms on Tuesday at 3:30PM.
Yesterday after Mafabi picking his forms he revealed that he will soon step down as the part SG.
He also expressed gratitude to the leaders who have confidence in him and picked the forms without his knowledge before appealing to all aspirants for run a non violent and smooth campaign.
The acting party president Alice Alaso yesterday warned to disqualify any indiscipline candidate a head of the November 17th elections.
