If all goes as planned, Ugandans will pay 7 billion shillings for the one-day swearing ceremony of a new president after the 2021 general elections.

This will be on top of the 924 million shillings that the Ministry for Presidency is seeking to procure ceremonial medals for distinguished Ugandans.
