President Yoweri Kagutta Museveni has promised to procure CCTV cameras as one of the measure to strengthen the security of the country.
This has been revealed by the inspector general of police Edward Kale Kayihura who said that this was contained in the president’ condolence and condemnation message sent to them in line to the murder of Kaweesi and two of his body guards.
President Museveni said that in order to keep the security robust, these cameras will be installed on all high ways and other towns.
Meanwhile kayihura who described now the late as a man full of promise, professional, respected and reliable said that the organized thugs have won in murdering Kaweesi but they have not yet won the battle.
Kayihura who admitted that indeed the assailant has hit them were it hurts most, called for vigilance amongst Ugandans and not to panic over what has happened.
He allauded to the fact the assailant stopped near Kaweesi’s home and pretended to be repairing the motorcycle and none of residents got concerned.
Kayihura also further revealed that they know who murdered Joan Kagezi though he is still on the run and all others who murdered sheikhs they have them behind bars.
