Unlike other religious leaders who wait to receive gifts from their followers and give Christmas messages in the comfort of their offices,  this has not been the case with the Bishop for the Evangelical Orthodox church EOC that subscribes to the Eastern Catholic rite Jacinto Kibuuka.
Bishop Kibuuka together with his flocks at Mamre international Prayer centre Namugongo Janda brought  a smile to the vulnerable people of Kasokoso in Wakiso district especially the old, poor, orphans, widows and those with HIV/AID by donating a bull, 300kg of rice, 200 kg of sugar for Christmas in addition to clothings, several boxes of soap among others.
“we are  doing this not to show off but out of love and care for the less privileged.
It’s important to always sacrifice the little you have, for the sake of others especially the needy ones thus whatever we have brought to you is in good heart so as for you to know that there people who think and care about you” said Bishop Jacinto Kibuuka
The charismatic Bishop also used the opportunity lash at the corrupt and land grabbers who have taken the country to the dogs due to their greed and selfishness.

” You people in Kasokoso you are in this state because of corrupt people who steal the taxes that you pay to satisfy themselves and their families.
In this Christmas season and as we enter into the New Year, we appeal to every one to fight against corruption, land grabbing and domestic violence.
Let’s respect and love one another and our country for a better Uganda that benefits all of us” said Bishop Kibuuka
He further urged the public to join them on the 31st December over night prayers at Mamre international prayer centre Namugongo Janda as they welcome the New year amidst deliverance prayers, fire wax and entertainment from renowned gospel artists.
Meanwhile Kasokoso residents led by their LC1 Chairperson Ali Mwanda applauded Bishop Kibuuka and the group for thinking about them before requesting them to take the noble cause a step further by educating the orphaned children.
