Bishop Kibuuka EOC’ patriarch Jerold Gliege in Uganda, heads to Kibuku district today

The Evangelical Orthodox Church EOC (the Antioch Eastern Catholic rite) globe leader Patriarch Jerold Gliege is in Uganda as part of his the pastoral visit to Africa.
Patriarch Jerold checked in at entebbe airport on Wednesday 11am and he was welcomed by the EOC bishop for central and Eastern provinces of Uganda Jacinto Kibuuka and some flocks of Mamre international prayer namugongo Janda.
Today Thursday the patriarch is heading to Kagumu Kibuku district where all churches in eastern Uganda will converge for a divine liturgy and also inspect their empowerment projects.
EOC is the religion to which Bishop Jacinto Kibuuka subscribes to, with its Globe leader being patriarch Jerold Gliege who is based in Canada.
The EOC establishment started in 2008 in Uganda however it shot to limelight in 2016 after the charismatic Bishop, Jacinto Kibuuka Defected to it following his expulsion from the Roman Catholic Church

Among other things, patriarch Jerold is scheduled to meet president Museveni, hold a meeting with all the clergy in the country and leading the divine liturgy at Mamre international prayer Centre Namugongo Janda on Sunday.
He will then head to Kenya, Burundi, Tanzania and Cameroon as also part of his pastoral visit to Africa.
Bishop Jacinto Kibuuka who serves as the Bishop for Central and Eastern provinces of Uganda urged all EOC followers and well wishers to join them in welcoming the patriarch and his delegation.
