The presiding Bishop for the Evangelical Orthodox Church (EOC) which subscribes to the Eastern Catholic Right Jacinto Kibuuka has on Sunday ordained two priests and two deacons and commissioned six ministers for Holy communion with a call not to turn into fake priests.
During the same event, Mamre International Prayer Centre Namugongo Janda celebrated three years of its existence.
Bishop Kibuuka also cautioned the new priest against exploiting and stealing from the faithful and stealing church properties since God called them to preach to the world without a price.
“Today’s Ordination is a great sign of Harvest. I caution you against becoming fake priests and turning into exploiters of the faithful and the same message goes to all my fellow religious leaders.” said Bishop Kibuuka.
Bishop kibuuka also emphasized that God didn’t call them to collect wealth and riches but to preach the word of God without a price.
