The Bishop for central and Eastern provinces of uganda in the evangelical orthodox Church Jacinto Kibuuka on Wednesday unveiled to the congregation at mamre international prayer centre namugongo Janda seven candidates who are currently undergoing training for priesthood.
The charismatic Bishop prayed to God  to help the seven excel in their training and to be faithful servants of God on behalf of His people.
He said that priests are selected from the public to serve God on the behalf of His people and to offer sacrifices every day to God for the people’s sins, themselves and those of the world.
The candidates include, in the category of Acolyte and lector: Olowo Vincent and Twebaze Dominic, in the category of Deacons: Omusomesa Emmanuel Kasule for permanent and Vincent Ssemanda for transitional, in category of priests: Deacon Alex Temple Twesigye, Alex Muke Thembo and Mark Kitebi.
In the same way the priests under the charismatic Jurisdiction renewed their vows before him.
On the same event Bishop Kibuuka sanctified the olive oil for Chrism, Catechumens and Infalumarum which is to be used throughout this year.

It’s on the event that Bishop Kibuuka urged  the public to be trustworthy in whatever they say and do and to tirelessly fight for purity and holiness not only in the appearance but most importantly in their hearts.
He further encouraged the public to always practice the sacrament of penance, confession for reconciliation with God.
