Centre for Legal Aid (CLA) in partnership with Uganda Blood Transfusion Services, have Saturday morning hosted dozens of blood
donors at the Nakasero Blood Bank in Kampala.
The donation exercise attracted a wide variety of donors drawn from
across the legal aid provider’s client communities, many of them
former workers of Crane Bank.
Speaking in the donor room, the practice leader and Chief Executive
Officer, Mr. Isaac Ssemakadde thanked the centre’s clients for their

that is all they have,” said Mr. Ssemakadde.
The centre’s clients, including the Former Workers of Crane Bank,
displayed a high level of enthusiasm, turning up early at the blood
collection centre and sustaining lively discussions as they caught up
on each other’s lives in the donation room.
CLA, the event organizers lauded the spirit of heroism displayed by
their clients through giving blood to save lives.
