Bugishu, Kumi, Sebei NRM region leaders want M7, Mukula declared sole candidates


National Resistance Movement (NRM) from Bugishu region, Kumi and Sebei region have  ressolved to front  President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni as a sole candidate on Presidency well as captain Mike Mukula as a sole candidate for the position of Vice chairman Eastern region.
This agreement  was reached by NRM Sebei region  at the meeting in Kapchorwa on Monday
The motion was presented by Chemuswet the NRM chairperson for Bukwo district and it was seconded by Emma Rose the RDC for Kweni district and aspiring Kweni woman MP
“The performance of the above eminent persons and the party in Sebei region has been outstanding in the region in terms of road infrastructure, rule of law , economic prosperity of our people to mention but a few.” reads part of the resolution.
 Mukula reported to them a number of  recent decisions by NRM CEC about the recently released elections road map
They however asked to get in touch with the president to put in place an  industry to add value on their products as well as job creation
Kapchorwa is known for growing of Irish potatoes on large scale
Well as the  top party leadership in Bugishu  reached this decision in a meeting where they reported that they are satisfied with the current government’s progress.
These asked  Mukula to ask president to avail them with a public university since as most of the  cities , a Minster for Teso region as well as the request for President to meet them before the forthcoming delegates conference.
In responding to them , Mukula promised to deliver their request to the president to have them addressed on the shortest period possible.
He asked all the top leadership of the party to make SACCOs as one of the means to develop their saving culture on top of developing themselves.
Mukula in the past few days says he has received an overwhelming number of FDC supporters defecting to NRM asserting that So far over 800 have handed over their party cards and more are expected to cross.
