Bundibugyo youths advised to maintain peace and stability


Bundibugyo youths have been advised to maintain peace, stability and security restored in the region by the NRM government.
The youth were also urged to always engage in  developmental activities like farming and business.
The call was made while launching the youths pressure group dubbed “Generation seven”(G7) structures in Bundibugyo,  Rwenzori region by the resident district commissioner Mr’s Asiimwe grace kakwenza.
Kakwenza called upon Ugandans to participate in the electoral commission’s program of checking for their names in the voters register as the country is preparing for the 2021 elections.
Kakwenza also appealed to the youths to engage in the government programs like operation wealth creation,youth livelihood programs among others to enable them to uplift their  future opportunities and fight against  poverty other than wasting time in betting and other useless activities.
Meanwhile the national coordinator generation seven(G7) Mr.Gilbert Olinga appreciated Bundibugyo youths for the overwhelming support they accord to president museveni and persuaded them to continue with the same spirit.
He said in that way the youths will avoid politicians who are planning to lure them into evils which may lead to destabilization of the region and uganda at large thus a call for them  to focus on developmental projects for poverty alleviation and and keeping president museveni’s legacy alive
