Church of Uganda, MTN Partner For Good Livehood


Church of Uganda has in partnership with MTN Uganda unveiled a program dubbed Kido development organ aimed at improving the livelihood of Ugandans through the church of Uganda projects.

According to the Archbishop his grace Stanley Ntagali, they are targeting 5 million Ugandans with every member required to contribute 500 shillings daily which sums up to 182,500/= Shillings annually, saying once all the number expected contributes, the church will be able to get 2.5billion shillings annually which will be invested in projects including a bank that will be give out loans at low interest rates, improve health services, education services among others.

Ntagali says, this program will circulate in all the 35 dioceses, 4000 parishes and 2,500 sub parishes across the country, hence calling upon all the Christians to participate in this noble cause.
