DJ Khaled brought “Wild Thoughts” to the Grammys. Accompanied by a show-stealing Rihanna and a smooth Bryson Tiller, DJ Khaled ran through his Grateful smash in a bright red Yves Saint Laurent suit.
As the music began playing, Khaled gave one of his famous motivational speeches. “I worked my whole life for this,” he said. “All I ever wanted wanted was to have an opportunity. They said I would never perform at the Grammys. They played themselves.”
Bad Gal took it from there, dancing all over the neon-colored set with conviction, while performing her sultry vocals. Backed by a team of dancers representing various different eras, Pen Griffey popped up to complete the duet in front of the Madison Square Garden crowd.
By the time she hit the stage, RiRi was already a winner, taking home Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for “LOYALTY.” with Kendrick Lamar.
