Opposition Democratic Party has revealed how it’s to offer all the necessary support to the Forum for Democratic Change FDC flag bearer Hon. Paul Mwiru in the Jinja east by elections.
Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, the presidential general of DP Norbert Mao said that the move is informed by the need to build cohesion and togetherness as opposition leaders to take over power and also to evict all legislators who voted yes for the removal of presidential age limit.
He asserts that disunit has always cost them thus a high time to cooperate.
“This is going to be a test driving to see how to build reliable alliance at the presidential seat since we can not cooperate at that level if we fail to do so at the parliamentary level.” said Mao.
The Jinja east by elections was as a result of both high and appeal’ court nullifying the victory Nathan Igeme Nabeta
In the same way Democratic Party has given it’s flag to Edward Kinene and Ronald Zziwa to contest for guild president of Makerere University and Kyambogo university respectively.
