FDC backs DP’s Njoki for Busia lC5 Chairpersonship

Opposition Forum for Democratic Change FDC Party has resolved to support the Democratic Party DP candidate Deo Njoki for the Busia LC5 Chairperson seat by elections.
Deo had lost elections to the NRM candidate Ouma Adeya however he contested his victory in courts of law over election multipractice which case went in his favor.
The nomination of candidates is slated to start Tuesday 6th to 7th November hence FDC has urged all its supporters to vote in favor of Deo and FDC candidates in other 36 electoral position in Busia.
Its on the above note that the party deputy secretary general Harold Kaija has cautioned the electoral commission, police and army to restrain from being partisan since management of elections is central in achieving progress, stability and development of the country.
Kaija asserts that ever since president Museveni accused the EC Chairperson justice Simon Byabakama of mishandling elections, all the election go in NRM’s favor.
In the same way Kaija has urged police to refrain from intimidating it’s supporters and leaders.
The caution follows police summons to five FDC Ngora district leaders for participating in a campaign dubbed Museveni must go.
Among those summoned include Omiat Moses chairman FDC Kapir sub county, Olabolo Michael FDC Chairperson Ngora district and Patrick Amechu FDC secretary Mukula subcounty.

Kaija further says it’s high time police appreciates that FDC’s occupation is to oust president Museveni from power thus police actions show high degree of impartiality and non performance of its cardinal roles.
