FDC DESCRIBE 2016 AS A TOUGH YEAR, PREDICTS A TOUGHER 2017

Forum for Democratic Change FDC party has described this year as one of the toughest year the country has ever had.
addressing a news conference at their headquarters, FDC party president maj.gen. Gregory Mugisha Muntu has alluded to many unfortunate happenings in the year  which included among others their purported stolen victory in the concluded 2016 general election, the deepening poverty levels in the country, sinking economy, strike by various workers in different sectors, closure of the leading education institution  makerere university, the repressive and suppression of the opposition leaders and the kasese massacre which he attributed to the careless,  not listening and impunity ruling government.
Muntu revealed that  despite of all the above negatives FDC and its leaders has remained steady fast in re-energizing, building and strengthening the party at all levels and restoring hope in Ugandans, as a way of   preparing  them for a new political dispension after taking over power, will be just, transparent, democratic and practice principles of good governance.
Muntu attributed the party’ cohension amidst  many trying to infiltrate and cause differences in it to exprienced and the Grace of God.
Muntu also wished all Ugandans a merry Christmas and happy new year before urging them to get ready  for a tougher 2017 since it will be full of suffering and problematic since the regime is about to fall and a new and good life will come.
“I want to all Ugandans to perceive the suffering as a life of a new plant emerging from a rotting seed, whatever painful situation we are going through we have to keep focused on changing the leadership of this country” said Muntu.
