The opposition forum for democratic change FDC National Executive committee NEC has summoned all it’s  candidates in the newly formed  56 districts and municipalities standing in different position for a meeting on Monday 21 st May.

The meeting shall mainly focus of finding means on how to mobilize and protect their votes against the ruling National Resistance Movement.

In a closed door meeting without mobile phones, this website has been reliably informed that the party has so far confirmed 1857 candidates on 3557 positions due for the forth coming elections in the new districts and municipalities.

Our insider informed us that the intention of locking out phones is for secrecy since they have been facing secret linkages where before the closure of the meeting, all the resolutions are on the finger tips of  the opposite forces.

The meeting that lasted for almost 9 hours without a break on Friday, was attended by almost all the NEC members even those who had taken a while without attending.

According to our sources in the meeting who spoke on condition of anonymity said that they resolved not divulge much of the resolution before meeting candidates on Monday and this has been confirmed since our efforts to have the authority to comment on matter were futile since all we contacted declined to give a comment.
