FDC swears in newly appointed NEC members

Forum for Democratic Change FDC newly appointed members to the National Executive Committee NEC have been sworn in and urged to serve the party diligently and to the best of their ability.
The party president Eng. Patrick Amuriat Oboi said as the party leaders they continue to prioritize and insist on performance, commitment and excellence in order to give their party the pride it deserves.

He said that the filling of the positions that had fallen vacant was done in good faith after the former leaders either leaving the party, loosing interest or on account of non performance.

However some of the big names like the new electoral commission boss Yusuf Nsibambi and legislator William Nzoghu made no show.
Among those sworn in include Kevina Taka as deputy president, Dr. Wakabi Dominic as deputy secretary health,  plan vaginia Mugenyi as deputy for Education, Tugume Moses deputy mobiliser western Uganda, Namwanga Lukia as deputy secretary for local government, Ouma Denis deputy secretary for people with disabilities, veterans, Robinson Kasozi as secretary ex service men and pensioners, Onekalit Davis Amele as deputy secretary industry and trade, Walid Lubega Mulindwa as chairman for youth,Toterebuka Bamwenda as deputy chairperson electoral commission, Harriet Nakiyemba ssebufu as deputy secretary for ethic, culture and religious affairs, Ben oumo as deputy secretary for mobilisation in Eastern Ugandan.
