Fdc vote for their next party president, Muntu, Amuriat most favorite

The forum for Democratic change FDC chairperson ambassador Waawa Birigwa says that the party should focus on winning the the local Council and women elections as one of the ways of building and strengthening their grassroot leadership.
Birigwa advised the delegates to vote for the right candidate who work towards restoring their stolen presidential victory and give more momentum to the party to take power, build party cohesion and end Museveni’s leadership.
In the same way one of the senior leader in the New patriotic party NPP in Ghana Samuel Paine appealed to the delegates to vote for strong candidate.
This in the ongoing FDC National Delegates conference at Namboole running under the theme democratisation : towards a people  driven liberation.
The candidates running for the offices of deputy Treasurer in charge of fundraising and secretary for labour and pensions were given to minutes each to campaign.
Lucy akello woman MP for amuru, Francis mwijukye MP buhweju county, Asasira Gumikiriza are vying for the position of deputy Treasurer while Ismail Ddamba Kisuuze,  Habib Buwembo, Sabuuka Doreen and Charles Yakani are vying for the position secretary for labour and pension.
While the three candidates vying for the party top office that’s the incumbent maj.gen. Gregory Mugisha Muntu, Patrick Amuriat Oboi,  Dan Malcolm Matsiiko and  Byamugisha Moses were given each 30 minutes to campaigns.
Patrick Amuriat Oboi based his campaign on four pillars that’s building party cohesion, vibrant structures, financial empowerment and redeeming the stolen victory.

Dan Malcolm mastsiko who spoke second put emphasis on redefining FDC foreign policy, building cohesion and unity by fighting intrigue within the party and combining together what’s good in defiance and organisation thus get the party from opposition to power

Mugisha Muntu Oyera said that an individuals can not resolve the crossroad the country is in but rather a strong institution and internal functional system thus a need to get an identity of mature politics, promote a party not individuals.
Muntu also lashed Patrick Amuriat oboi who he said can’t manage defeat and he is the source of contractions in the party.

Byamugisha Moses wants youths to be involved in the state affairs, establish fully functional offices in the twenty party sub counties and to change the system of refilling the gaps in the party.
Now next is voting for the next leaders
