Opposition Forum Democratic Change FDC says there some elements in the opposition political parties and pressure groups that pretend be in the opposition yet they are against them.
This has been revealed by the party deputy spokesperson John Kikonyogo while referring to the former party president attack on Saturday at bulange Mengo.
Though the party is still investigating the person or authority that orchestrated attack and the motive behind it, FDC advises it’s comrades in the struggle to be careful not to be used by their opponents since they all aim at changing the current regime.
Kikonyogo also termed the call from the ruling National Resistance Movement NRM secretary general Justine Kasule Lumumba to have Dr. Besigye’s attackers arrest as crocodile tears since Besigye has been through a lot but never at any one time before has she ever come out to defend is right.
Meanwhile FDC has also urged the Ugandan government to come out clear on the real impulse between Uganda and Rwanda that led to the closure of the boarder points from last week since the statements so far issued are not convincing at all.
They are also demanding for the release or charging in courts of law of their member who is also the chairperson of Jinja central Mubarak Kirunda that was arrested two weeks from Kisoro District and transferred to Kireka for unknown reasons.
