First ever Ugandan grown, produced white Button mushroom now on market

Ugandans can know be sure of getting the white button mushroom which is known for its numerous health benefits towards human being any time they wish too. This is as a result of mamre prayer center establishing the product’ farm in Namugongo Janda which has now yielded and products are on local market.
The mumash farm products that is led by the evangelical orthodox Catholic Church (Antioch) bishop for central and Eastern Uganda Jacinto Kibuuka is the first local farm to grow and distribute the white button mushroom in the country.
The product which apparently is distributing to five star hotels like Serena and Sheraton hotels can be found at mamre prayer center international namugongo Janda a city suburb were the farm was established with a view of empowering the congregates.
Some of the benefits of the white button mushrooms include but not limited to strengthening immune system, improves modes and relieves stress, promotes cell regeneration, improves brain function, prevents heart diseases and cancer, stimulates blood flow, boasts blood cells and memory, controls eczema and has vitamin a, b and c.
Uganda has been importing it from Rwanda and South Africa.
According to Bishop Kibuuka after setting up the processing company, the product will than be exported abroad starting with kisumu Kenya where it’s people have already placed their orders.
He revealed that he was triggered to embark on the project with his colleagues at mamre prayer center in order to empower the congregation and community financially.
Each pack (quarter) of the white button mushroom costs 10000 while a kilogram goes for 50,000 shillings only
