Four arrested in connection with Rakai school fire



Police have confirmed the arrest of three people so far to help in their investigations into the cause of fire that left at least 10 students dead at St Bernard Secondary School, Manya in Rakai District in central Uganda.
Mr Ben Nuwamanya, the District Police Commander said Monday that three students and a school warden were in detention.

Meanwhile, education minister Janet Museveni is among senior government officials who have rushed to the school after news came in the morning about the fire.

Others included security minister Gen. Elly Tumwine and ISO boss Col. Kaka Bagyenda.
