Gov’t applauds Bungabet.ug, for equipping hospitals and schools.

Government through ministry of tourism, wild life and antiquities has applauded online sports betting company Bungabet.ug, for providing various health services and scholastic materials to various health centres and schools In Mbarara district.

The acknowledgment was made by state minister for tourism Godfrey Kiwanda Ssuubi while delivering his remarks during the end of year party for this company held at Uganda wild life education Centre hotel based at Entebbe Wakiso district specifically intended to discuss on how the company can provide better services to its clients and the country in general.

The minister revealed that, the company is paying taxes and employing more than 150 Ugandans thus helping the country’s economy to grow.

He also applauded the company’s initiative to equip health centres like Nshuure heath Centre II, Bukiro health Centre III among others in Kashari county Mbarara district, with equipment worth 50 million as well as giving out schools fees for some 20 students in various schools that include St Mark Rubingo Kashari, St Emanuel Bukiro, St Charles SS in Mbarara district among others.

“I understand you employ over 150 Ugandans, which is commendable. You also pay taxes to the Government of Uganda, which supports and grows Uganda’s economy. I thank you” Kiwanda said.

Currently Bungabet has branches in various parts of Uganda, Kenya, Brundi, Nigeria DRC, and Zambia, and the party was also attended by various visitors from Zambia, South Africa, UK among others.

Meanwhile, Prosper Tuhaise, CEO bungabet.ug, emphasized the company’s commitment to engage more in charity  activities as a sign of appreciation.

“We shall keep on participating in such activities to help our fellow Ugandans specifically the needy to give them green light” Prosper added.
