Gov’t, stakeholders urged to put more efforts in empowering girl child

.

As Uganda celebrates women day today the 8th February, government and other stake holders have been urged to focus more on  the girl child by  educating and financial empowering them.
Gilbert olinga the national coordinator of the NRM elite youths dubbed generation seven (G7) while opening their office in Iganga town council said the focus on girl child will help in reduction of ignorance and poverty hence fostering  development.

Olinga also cautioned men against neglecting their families and leaving the responsibilities to women since it leads to poor up bringing of children due to lack of parental guidance since the mother spend most of the struggling for the survival of the children and themselves.
He also applauded women for the immense support to President Museveni thus encouraging them to maintain the love even the  2021 upcoming elections asserting that  he is still a strong and visionary leader.
Meanwhile he advised youths to peacefully participate in the upcoming elections  by avoiding being lured into violent acts by some unpatriotic  politician who envy the developments brought by the ruling government in different sectors like Roads,industries,healthy facilities, electricity,technological innovations among others.
