Other 16 pupils scored aggregate 5 while 22 pupils scored aggregate 6.
The school, owned by city tycoon Sudhir Ruparelia, had a total of 174 candidates in Division One and 54 candidates in Division Two.
The results were released in the school’s Main Hall at the Naguru premises by First Lady and Minister of Education and Sports, Janet Kataaha Museveni.
Speaking on the excellent performance, the school head teacher, Daphine Kato, praised the pupils for discipline and hardworking and teachers for researching and teaching well.
Speaking Thursday, Janet justified her decision to release PLE results from Kampala Parents’ school and not the Office of the President as has been the practice.
Appearing before the Education committee, Budiope West MP Robert Musoke tasked the First Lady to explain what prompted her ministry to opt for a private school to host the event.
In her response, Janet said they opted for the school because the air conditioning system in the hall which has been hosting the event at the office of the president had issues.
She also said the school management had offered them the facility free of charge.
“We normally use the hall at the Office of the President because we are strictly not willing to pay for halls when we have government facilities. But it has been having problems with its air conditioning and you don’t put people in areas with no fresh air. We don’t want to get problems for people,” said Ms Museveni.
Kampala Parents’ School is a private day primary school with a student base of 3000 offering the Ugandan (UNEB) curriculum.
It occupies a 14-acre site off Lugogo- By-Pass in Naguru with ultra – modern infrastructure including a fully equipped and modern computer lab, science lab, well-stocked library, home economics kitchen with electrical appliances and a music room with modern instruments.
Over the years, it has returned impressive primary leaving results because believed in more than merely filling children’s heads with academic information but with entrepreneurial skills and an added emphasis on sports activities.
