Bulemeezi county kabaka’s Chief Kangawo Fredrick Ntege has attributed the rampant unemployment and poverty amongst Ugandan youths to laziness and non implementation of the skills acquire from institutions of learning.
Kangawo made the remarks while handing over an empty office to Buganda youths of bulemezi county at the Gombolola headquarters.
He argued that he handed them an empty office to empower them work harder to fill it with the neccesities.
He also urged them to be of high standard, creative and innovative by using the little resources available to develop and promote Buganda and Uganda at large.
Kangawo also cautioned youths against the deadly HIV/AIDS hence encouraging them to always go for healthy check ups and follow the doctors advice.
The message comes at a time when Uganda is also preparing to join the world to commemorate the world Aids day on 1st DEC 2018 in Kabong district.
In the same way the former UJA treasurer and aspiring candidate for Woman member of parliament Nakaseke district 2021 Esther Nakawooya urged youths to acquire vocational skills in addition to the formal education to enable them start up own businesses, create more jobs and also develop Nakaseke into a modern status.
Nakawooya further urged youths to rise Buganda flag high by promoting Buganda culture and norms.
Further more, she advised parents to provide food to their school going children to enable them learn better.
