Local comedienne Kansiime Anne has landed a new deal with DSTV Uganda.
The funny woman from Kabale has been named DSTV brand ambassador as they announced a new campaign that takes effect on 1st November which will see the biggest price cut in the history of the brand in four of their bouquets – Premium, Compact Plus, Compact and Family. This comes alongside a massive content upgrade on DStv packages.
Kansiime Ann will be at the fore-front of the new campaign and has already recorded the commercial promoting the campaign.
Tina Wamala, PR Manager MultiChoice Uganda, explained that Anne Kansiime was chosen for the job because she resonates well with their audience.
“Kansiime is our agent of change. She is pan-African and resonates well with our audience; not just Uganda but Africa as whole,” said Tina Wamala. “We are excited to have her as our ambassador.”
Starting 1st November, DStv Premium subscribers will enjoy a reduction of 14% in subscription price to UGX 287,250, Compact Plus customers will enjoy a 15% drop to UGX 190,700, DStv Compact will receive a 5% drop to UGX 121,600, and DStv Family package will be reduced by 9% to UGX 66750.
