Kampala Capital City Authority KCCA primary school teachers that are against their transfer have been advised to register their dissatisfaction with the KCCA education Committee.
This follows Kampala Capital City Authority KCCA implementation of the 170 transfers of primary school teachers that were registered in the last term of 2016.
According to the chairperson education committee at KCCA and also councilor representing Lubaga three at the authority Honorable Councilor Ismail Ddamba Kisuuze the transfers where registered in the last term of 2016 but their implementation started early this year adding that there is still ample time to handle the complaints.
“We have transferred some teachers especially those that have been in the same school for more than five years, those we thought their skills will help better the performances of other schools and we have also considered the residential area of the teacher visa vie the school. We welcome complaints of those affected at KCCA so that we can do the needful.” Said Hon. Ismail
Meanwhile KCCA has appointed the new school management committee members who will help government and KCCA to run the government aided schools on their behalf.
“ we have finished nominating names of people that will sit on those committees in many schools around Kampala and these names will be approved by the council in the coming meeting which is expected on the 12th of this month and on the 16th the same month they will oriented about their duties “ Hon. Ismail added.
