Kitata, 12 others finally charged, remanded to Kigo prison

Military court sitting at chieftancy of military intelligency CMI in Mbuya has produced the incercellated Boda boda 2010 and Lubaga division national resistance movement chairperson Abdalla Kitata and 12 others, charged them five counts before remanding them to kigo prison until the 9th February for further mention of their case.
The accused who were not allowed to take plea due to the nature of their charges, have been slapped with five counts of which four are criminal in nature and upon conviction they attract death sentences and life imprisonment.
The charges include failure to protect war materials, contrary to section 122(i),2(h)(I) of the UPDF act 2005 and unlawful possession of military stores contrary to section 161 of updf act.
According to the press release signed by the deputy uganda people’s defense forces updf spokesperson other accused include Ngobi Sowali, Twinomujuni Amon, Kibirige Joel, Ssenfuka Matia, Ssebata Hassan,  Kayondo Johnson, Ssengoba Hassan, Ssemwogerere Sunday, ssebandeke John, Mugema Hussein, Bwanika Fred and Ssekagya Ibrahim
