Lets conserve nature by planting trees, Rotary business festival 2019

The call to conserve the  environment of  Uganda is a responsibility of everyone and government especially by fighting deforestation and supporting re-aforestation l.
According to Rotary past District Governor, Kenneth Mugisha, the preparation to hold the 1st ever annual Rotary business festival of this year are in high gear to bring together Rotary business owners and customers to consolidate platform to display products and services to the public.
The festival will bring togather serious companies from Rotary clubs to enhance  public awareness and enable public understand the different service Rotarian’s by offering and further creating avenues for conserving nature through the campaign dubbed “Mission Green”
Mugisha says that, apart from the event scheduled to run from 29th to 30th of 2019 at Forest Mall Lugogo aimed at rising the bar for showcasing ethical business spear headed by Ugandan Rotarian’s.
“We are ready to plant over 20 million trees every year because we working together with ministry of water and environment to phase out a public day specifically for planting tree only” Said Mugisha
“Uganda is likely to be full of refugees coming from near by countries, using firewood means they need to start growing tree in their refugee camps and we need to involve the education ministry to introduce this mission factor in all schools to start doing the same by planting trees” Added Mugisha
However, Boosting growth by empowering customers to know about serious goods, this expo seeks to achieve with assembled business players ranging from small to medium business to large corporations to show the latest products on market.
