A letter that indefinitely suspended the Bishop for central and Eastern Uganda in the evangelical orthodox Catholic Church (Antioch church) Jacinto Kibuuka from Roman Catholic Church has leaked and gone viral on social media approximately two years after it was authored.
In the letter dated 12th July 2016 Signed by the arch-bishop Kizito Lwanga and the chancellor FR. Joseph Mary Ssebunya, addressed to the then Rev. Father Jacinto Kibuuka was indefinitely suspended without giving his defense with instructions that he  repents as soon as possible.
He was also suspended from conducting prayers and entering any Roman Catholic associated institution apart from the resident of mitala Maria.
“in additional this penalty carries a prohibition of reception of benefits and stipends including the obligation of restitution even if in good faith.
Furthermore, I here by withdraw all the faculties accorded to you eg celebrating of sacrament, preaching the word of God and pastoral care of the faithful.” reads the letter in parts.
“this Suspension deprives you of the privilege of residence in any Catholic institution or parish other than your designated residence.” it further reads
In an additional press statement issued by the chairperson of Uganda Episcopal conference and arch bishop of Gulu most Rev. John Baptist Odama clearly stated  that Kibuuka and the priests that joined him are no longer in communion and recognize that he crossed to another church but surprisingly they continue crooking against his personality.
“Kibuuka crossing to another church and priests who have openly and publicly joined the rebellion are automatically self excommunicated from the Catholic Church and are no longer in communion with the Roman Catholic Church.” read the release in parts.
The big question however is why would such a big institution continue attacking the personality of a person who they consider uninfluential and weaker?

It should also be noted that ever since his consecration as a bishop for eocc in mid November this year, the Roman Catholic priests have been critical of Kibuuka and raised all kinds of dust against him, describing him as a defiant man and a self imposed Bishop in the church they have no authority over.
The Roman Catholic priests have fully utilized their Sunday sermons to speak ill against Kibuuka yet well knowing that he is nolonger part of them.
One can also conclude that such words informed the decision of the Catholic lawyers association led by the masaka district chairperson Jude Mbabali and Kalungu east legislator Joseph Gonzanga Ssewungu to file a case against Kibuuka accusing him of imitating the Roman Catholic Church by the way he celebrates the divine liturgy and the vestments he puts on as a bishop.
Though the hearing date of the same case is slated for 29th that Wednesday this week before Buganda road court Chief magistrate James Eremye Mawanda, but according to his official church facebook page by Sunday Bishop Kibuuka had not been served with the summons.
It should be noted that this is not the first time attacks have been mounted against Bishop Kibuuka, after his suspension, he clashed with Monsignor Expedito Magembe and the late John Bosco Mukajjanga of Mt. Sion prayer centre of Bukalango, Wakiso district. With a case of sexual assault the two reportedly brought against Kibuuka together with a one Nantongo before it was withdrawn from the High Court by the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Kibuuka, who was ordained into priesthood in 2008, was leading the Catholic charismatic renewal prayers at Namugongo Martyrs Shrine by the time of he was given an indefinite suspension from Roman church without trial on the charges of disobedience to the rightful ecclesiastical authority and abuse of power of the same.
