Airtel announced the cheque sponsorship for 2020 Masaza Cup of Six hundred fifty million shillings (UGX. 696M).
Centenary bank sponsored the tournament with four hundred ninty six million shillings (UGX. 496M) before Kande Poultry Farm sponsored with fourty five million shillings (UGX. 45M).
The Buganda kingdom also supported each team with four million shillings (UGX. 4M) to help them for the preparations for the kickoff of the tournament.
"I confirm that, all the following fees will be catered by the Buganda kingdom, accommodation, Covid-19 tests and also the games will be televised on Bbs Terefayina since there are no fans allowed following ministry of health guidelines" Stated Henry Ssekabembe.
Kits, balls plus rules and regulations of the 2020 Masaza Cup also handed to each team to gear up for the closed door tournament.
The tournament is set to start on 12th December 2020 at the FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru with no fans allowed
