Opposition Forum for Democratic Change FDC has expressed dismay over the actions of some of its leaders and members to support an independent Casiano Wadri over FDC’s Bruce Musema for the Arua municipality seat.
Addressing a news conference at their party headquarters, the party’s deputy secretary general Harold Kaija said the actions of the former FDC president Maj. Gen. Gregory Mugisha Muntu and the numerous FDC legislator to support former Terego county legislator Wadri is not only disappointing but also discouraging, disheartening, a bad example comparing it to burning own’s house and killing own child since it only breaks institutions.
Kaija revealed that the FDC party’s disciplinary committee chairperson JB Okello Okello is handling the matter.
Kaija also revealed that the causes of the current wrangles are both internal and external some culminating from the delegates conference and the unorriented leaders who join them along the way.
