Nakaseke youths have applauded their aspiring Women member of parliament come 2021 Esther Nakawooya for offering them bursaries in vocational skills.
In the spirit of fighting rampant poverty and reducing unemployment especially amongst youth,Esther Nakawooya has always been advising youths in Nakaseke district to engage in practical skills which will enable them start their own jobs instead of struggling for the scarce job opportunities in the country.
Nakawooya through her good lobbing skills has managed to approach different vocational institutes like St.Paul and Nakaseke vocation institute to pay half bursaries for over 2000 students in different course units including catering,tailoring,wielding,
She also used the opportunity to reiterate her call for parents to provide the necessary school requirements and not tire on advising their children most especially the adolescents to take care of themselves due to the high HIV/AIDs scourge in uganda..
In addition,the woman leader of lukyamu village in kitto sub county Miss Zawede thanked Nakawooya for extending the crafts skills to them which will help in expanding their family income.
