Newly appointed Ochola is a shadow IGP-says FDC

opposition Forum for Democratic change FDC party has asserted that the newly appointed inspector general of police Martin Okoth Ochola will only be a shadow and public relations officer of police while his deputy Brigadier Sabiti Mzee will be the substantive police head.
According to the party’ vice president eastern region Hon Salaam Musumba ugandans shouldn’t expect any thing new in the changes since its the players who have changed but the board remains the same.
on the new security minister General Elly Tumwine Musumba said he has nothing on his profile accept shooting the first bullet for the gorilla war hence the story of uganda’ security will remain a horror.
she advised that the security can only be stable after overhaul of security agencies and keeping the military away from police affairs but most importantly regime change.
” the only thing that can help is to unpack , break and reallign the security needs of the country by changing the regime” said Musumba
In the same way the party president Eng Patrick Amuriat oboi cautioned the newly appointed security officers not to misuse their power in defending president museveni’s interest of keeping himself in power but work for the common good of Ugandans since at the end it’s them who will be personal accountable for their deeda.
Meanwhile in a way that is unusual fdc has announced that they will attend the national women’s day celebrations at Mityana district.
Salaam Musumba says the major reason for attending is to demand for accountability on the rampant women murders and kidnaps.
