NRM announces new date to hold it’s primaries

The NRM ruling party has finally announced new date to hold it’s primaries in the newly 7 created districts of Nabikatuk, Kabelebyong, Bugweri, Kwania, Kassanda, Kikuube, and the old district of Hoima to be held on 21st/11/2018.
John Kigyagi Arimpa,  deputy chairperson of the party electoral commission says, the primaries had earlier slated for 08th/08/2018, and later postponed due to financial crisis that  left many party candidates with no hope. “We postponed our primeries within the newly created districts due to normal circumstances,  but now we are ready to conduct these elections on 21/11/2108, following various discussions we have been having with party officials, Kigyagi added” 
He says that expression of picking nomination forms, campaigns and nominations were concluded and no body is allowed to engage in such activities, except consulting thier area electrotes just to awaken them, and on behalf of NRM party, Mr. Kigyagi  apologized for any inconveniences the postponement may have caused for party candidates, stakeholders and the NRM fraternity in the districts.
Last Thursday, some of the party candidates including Francis Akorikiw party candidate Kabelebyongo inaved the party electoral commission headquarters Kyadondo Kampala seeking for wayforward over the matter.
