KAMPALA: According to the NRM party national Secretary general Justin Kasule Lumumba who was addressing the media today at the party headquarters Kyadondo Kampala said that under the NRM act, those who disagree with the party decision must under go through desplinary committee meaning they are going to miss out the 2rd meeting of the 3rd National Conference that will be held on 25th of January 2020 at Mandela national stadium, Namboole.
“Their actions are against tge party, if the party come out with a final decision it’s a must every body must line up with of which for them they failed to copy up, so they gave to wait for the next party conference because they haven’t go through the committee as the party structure follows” Said Lumumba.
Lumumba adds that the main purpose Bo’s this conference is to effect amendments to the NRM Constitution ‘Reprint 2015 NRM Act’ and this actual amendments needs to convening the Constitutionally mandated conference.
“24th of January 2020, will be the national executive council (NEC) and 23rd, will be central executive committee (CEC), all the meetings will be chaired by the NRM party chairman His Excellence Yoweri K Museveni followed by 1st vice chairperson, 2rd and other 18 body that forms the party includes twenty ’20’ special Guest invited by the National chairperson” says Lumumba.
However, Lumumba vows the delegates to attend the conference have been verified and approved by the district NRM leadership and will be displayed at the NRM district officers for any person to view and ensure that only those on the list attend the conference.
Lumumba explain that the accreditation for NEC will be on 23rd while for the National Conference will be on 24 both at Kololo Airstrip.
The central organizing committee headed by the secretary general kasule Lumumba deputized by Richard Todwong which is contitutes by chairpersons of eight sub committee.
Note: only displayed delegates on the list at the NRM district offices will be eligible to attend the conference.
