NRM releases road map for it’s LCII, women council at sub county level primaries

Following the conclusion of LCI Women council elections countrywide, the NRM ruling party has today released road map for its LCII elections primaries.
Dr. Tanga Odoi, the party electoral commission boss said nomination of candidates will take place on 16th/07/2018, campaign is  scheduled for 17th-19th/07/2018, while polling date is 20th/07/2018, adding that primaries for party women council elections on parish level will be conducted on 09th/07/2018, sub county level is slated for 27th/07/2018, while that  on district level will be held on 04th/08/2018.
Tanga says that 29% is the number that accounts for their unopposed candidates at LCI level in the 60800 in the country.
He adds that the party has so far 6 aspirants who have shown interest to fill Arua municipality parliamentary seat following the assassination of hon Ibrahim Abiriga who was the area legislator.
He further highlighted that, according to the results they party electoral commission results for LCI Women council elections within 108 districts,  they  scored 83.3%, thus appealing to party supporters  to stand united to also dominate other forthcoming elections.
