Operation Drive Famine Out of The Country

Some of the Opposition Forum for Democratic Change prominent members have partnered with the retired second bishop for Luweero Diocese Bishop Evans Mukasa Kiseeka in the national relief campaign which aims at giving relief like food and clothes to the people in areas which are ravaged with famine and hunger. While lunching the campaign in lubaga kampala today, Bishop Evans who was in company of the FDC Buganda chairperson and also Lubaga Division Mayor Joyce Ssebugwawo Nabossa and FDC deputy secretary general Harold Kaija told journalists that in this campaign they do not only aim at giving relief but also to sensitize the public on the basics of avoiding famine in the future. He adds that government has been overwhelmed by the burden despite doing its best to handle the current famine situation in the country were many have lost their lives thus their intervention It’s on this note that Bishop Evans appealed to the public to extend a hand to the project and not to politicize it since its all about saving lives. others on the committee include former FDC’ treasurer HON. Jack Sabitti and chairperson Public accounts committee in parliament HON.Kasiano Wadri
