Uganda’s president Yoweri Kagutta Museveni has labelled the country’s opposition leaders as murderers who work towards antagonizing development and his National Resistance Movement NRM as weak who don’t follow up their constituents and government programs.
This he said while addressing different youth groups from Kampala at state house Entebbe.
President Museveni also blamed the youths for electing oppositions in Kampala who only care about their salaries while subjecting them into riots with the aim of killing them.
Museveni also said during the late Ssebana Kizito and Hajji Naser Ntege Ssebagala as Kampala mayor they sold off all the markets which was the primary income for the ordinary people.
The head of state also took a weep at the former Prime Minister Amama Mbabazi and other NRM leaders for neglecting the ghetto people which created the gap between ghetto people and government.
Museveni further said Uganda’s economy is doing good only that his weak NRM leaders embezzle the taxes collected and misuse it thus imploring the youths to work with him to fight the corrupt and the opposition who put youths lives in danger.
President Museveni cited out Four cells of development which include Commercial agriculture, industrialization, service delivery and ict thus encouraging the youths to form groups under one of the four so that government gives them a hand.
“The reason for their youths thieving came as a result of my weak NRM leaders and the opposition murderers who don’t tell them the right ways of making money but rather encourage them to riot and throw stones at the security officers.
I have never told these NRMs to fight with the opposition because as a parent and ground father I know the dangers of riots with the most being death and wastage of your developmental time but your murderers keep encouraging you to riot instead of encouraging you to Venture into income generating activities.” said President Museveni.
President Museveni also gave the youth groups from the five division of Kampala a cheque of five hundred million shillings each totaling to 2.5 billion shillings and each youth leader who represented at entebbe 300,000/= as their facilitation.
Meanwhile Museveni admitted that indeed security officers that arrested kyadondo east member of parliament Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine did beat him due to his indiscipline.
Earlier on he laughed off Bobi Wine that he can’t manage issues of politics thus advising him to stay in the Music business.
