Five piglet heads have been dumped near Kampala Capital City Authority headquarters with placards featuring names of the top government officials that benefited from the six billion presidential hand shake with the amount each pocketed.
The heads which were soaked in yellow paint where dumped at the junction of portal avenue and Sir Apollo Kagwa road by the youth group dubbed Citizens Campaign against corruption a youth group that advocates for equity and transparency in the country.
The words written on the placards attached on the piglets include names and amount received by each government officials.
Some of the names that featured include the Uganda Revenue Authority URA executive director Doris Akol who received 242 millions shs , the accounting officer of ministry of finance Keith Muhakanizi 108 millions, Jennifer Musis 121 million and Robina Rwakojo 80 million.
The heads were cleared by police led by CPS DPC Joseph Bakaleke and the youths who executed the act fled the place shortly with none arrested but police seemingly turned their hanger on the boda boda riders at the nearby stage thus arresting two.
However the DPC Bakaleke said that the arrested people were obstructing traffic but are not in any way related to the dumping of piglets heads near the KCCA headquarters.
“We have not arrested any one in connection to this but what was our concern we asked the boda boda people at this stage who could have dropped the rubbish in the road and they couldn’t say may be a vehicle or boda or person walking” said Bakaleke
” i found that irresponsible as partners in security I chased them off the stage” he added
Before adding that he his feeling is that someone was carrying rubbish to a central places and some dropped off hence police’ intervention to clean up as responsible citizens.
