Police cancels Bobi wine’s bond as state attorney sanctions charges against him

Police at kampala central police station has this morning cancelled Kyandodo East legislator Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi wine’s bond after he failed to turn up in person to police and the state attorney sanctioning his file.
This has been confirmed by Bobi wine’s lawyer George Musis who had gone to police to seek the bond extension Bobi wine.
Bobi wine was given a police bond last week on charges of disobeying lawful orders when he lead a demonstration against the mobile money and social media taxes in the city centre, escape arrest and after he was summoned to police through the speaker of parliament.
Musis said that Bobi wine could not make it to Kampala on Tuesday after his vehicle got mechanical troubles on his way back from Nebbi district were he had a political campaign.
He added that they will produce Bobi wine to court once he is summoned.
