POLICE CHIEF KALE KAYIHURA DRAGS RED PAPER, CHIMP REPORTS TO COURT

The inspector general of police Gen. Kale kayihura through the attorney general William Byaruhanga    has rushed to the high court seeking for an injunction stopping four media houses to publish news in regard to the late AIGP Andrew Felix Kaweesi’ murder.
The media houses that have been dragged to court include Red pepper publication limited, and other online publications include Chimpreports, the investigator and the Ugandan.
The application also doesn’t spare the publication’ bosses who include Giles Muhame managing editor chimpreports, Stanley Ndawula managing editor of Investigator, Dickson Kaguruki of the uganan and the managing editor for red pepper whose name wasn’t mentioned.
Kayihura asserts that the above publications stories on Kaweesi murder have and will play a great role in jeopardizing the investigations.
Its important to note that Kayihura himself and through the police’s mouth piece Asan Kasingye have on several occasion cautioned the media against publishing stories on the netiquettes on Kaweesi’ gruesome murder last month.
