Police confirms bomb attacks at the legislators home

Kampala metropolitan police spokesperson Emilian kayima has confirmed the grenade attacks at the two legislators homes on Tuesday morning which fall in the category of factory hand made grenedes with lesser effects.
In the night grenades detonated in the homes of Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi wine and makidye west MP Allan Ssewanyana.
Kayima said that police has picked valuable items at the crime scenes which will be taken to government analytical laboratory for further scrutiny before coming up with detailed report.
He appealed to everyone especially legislators receiving any kind of threats to formally report to police so they prevail over before they turn into reality and not to mix politics with their security.
He also noted that a Noah vehicle white in colour was seen at Bobi wine home though the eye witnesses were relectaunt to copy the number plate thus an appeal for everyone to be vigilant.
He added that they have taken statement from the two legislators and several people in two days incidents and yet to submit the recoveries to the government analytical laboratory as it was the case for Lubaga north legislator Moses Kasibante who was also attacked last week on Thursday.

in the sameway Kayima has confirmed the arrest of the Kampala lord mayor Elias Lukwago from his home and the opposition forum for Democratic change FDC mobilisation secretary Ingrid Turinawe from kasangati who was travelling in the mataato as an adherence to the red ribbon movement campaign lunched on Saturday by the opposition strong man Dr. Kiiza Besigye.
Kayima said that Ingrid was found issuing red ribbons and rallying the public to join their red ribbon movement though he had no details on Lukwago arrest.
He asserts that they have intelligence information that some political actors want to cause violence in the city for selfish motives.
