Police slaps new charges against Nambooze as her condition worsen in detention

Police has opened up new charges of inciting violence in addition to offensive communication against the Mukono municipality legislator Hon Betty Nambooze Bakireke who is currently in unpleasant condition at Nagalama police station where she was detained after her rearrest on Thursday.
The developments have been confirmed by the CID police spokesperson Vincent Ssekate who said that Nambooze will be under their custody until next week when they will align her before the substantive courts of judicature.
The bad health condition of  hon. Nambooze is vivid in her photos while on drip in the CID nagalama police office sleeping on two benches squeezed besides each other.
In response to the above while on one of the local television station NTV, Ssekate said that police has well trained health workers who can treat all kinds of illness including the one of  Nambooze.
Nambooze’s lawyer who also doubles as the Kampala lord mayor Erias lukwago said they nolonger have trust in the public institutions since they have choosen to disregard the country’s laws.
Lukwago said the proper way of summoning or arresting any member of parliament should be done through the speaker of parliament Which in this case was not Done.
However Ssekate said despite the law stipulating the same but it’s practically impossible on urgent cases like the one of Hon. Nambooze.
It should be noted that on Thursday police cancelled Nambooze’s Bond a day after securing the same due to New charges and the new orders that were received from the superiors in the force.
Nambooze is accused of putting up a post on her facebook account after the assassination of Arua municipality legislator Hon Ibrahim Abiriga and his body guard Saidi Bugu Kongo that is seen as offensive and inciting violence violence in the  public.
Police is also on hunt for three more Ugandans which it accuses of offensive communication.
These include Ugandan blogger based in Sweden peng peng, Mr Mugerwa and Kuli

Peng peng released a video  cautioning other members of the ruling party NRM after the assassination of Abiriga .

Mr Mugerwa is alleged to have released an audio urging Abiriga killers to look for more NRM MPs while Kuli allegedly posted a message on Facebook, saying the deceased would be killed in the first week of June.
