In a bid to boost its relations and trade, the Republic of Nepal appointed Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia whose business ventures have continued to expend to cover many sectors of the economy.
According to sources at Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the formal ceremony will take place in the first week of March 2020 in Kampala with His Excellency Ambassador Jhabindra Aeyal Rajdoot.
WHY DR. SUDHIR
A self-made billionaire and philanthropist, Dr Sudhir, is the founder and Chairman of the Ruparelia Group, a 28 Company conglomerate invested in financial services, real estate, education, hospitality, agriculture and media. The group is a major investor and taxpayer and directly employs over, 8,000 employees, the majority of whom are women.
Sudhir, a recipient of the Golden Jubilee Presidential Medal by His Excellency President Yoweri Museveni, he has also been recognised by Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) as a top and compliant taxpayer.
Dr. Sudhir was in 2018 appointed by the Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) as an honorary wildlife ambassador, in recognition of his support to wildlife conservation efforts.
Forbes Magazine in 2014, recognized him as the 24th Wealthiest Person in Africa.
THE REPUBLIC OF NEPAL

Kathmandu is the capital and the largest city.
Nepal is a multi ethnic country with Nepali as the official language.
