Public urged to contribute towards a run to fundraise for Entebbe Government Schools

The Kids of Africa-Swiss African Childrens have organised the annual marathon dubbed the Sanitation Run 2019 on 13 of October aimed at building and renovating Government Schools in Katabi entebbe Municipality.
According to the Executive Director Kids of Africa Mrs Florence Kobusingye, in their home they cater for more than 90 children however they also help the near by schools especially  Government Schools.
Their target this year is to helpl build toilets for three schools that’s: St Paul Buloga P/S, St Luko Nkumba P/S and St Kizito Namugondo P/S both will cost 150 million.
“Students/children especially girls  face a lot of problems especially during their menstrution  periods while visiting Toilets especially those in bad conditions thus i call upon all of you and other sponsors to come and run for this Noble cause” Said the ED Florence
She added that, this year’ run they expect more than 1000 runners to answer the call to improve sanitation within Katabi.
Ronald Kalema, the mayor of Katabi, thanked kids of Africa for promoting   sanitation within Katabi for the past 8 years.
“To Change the community you don’t need to have Billions of money but whatever little thing you contribute matters”
This year’ Run will be categorised into 5km, 10km, and 21Km race with respective age categories
The starting point will be, from kids of Africa located at Bwerenga Wakiso District
