Roman Catholic Church agrees not attack Bishop Kibuuka’ EOC again.

The Roman Catholic Church through its legal team has agreed not wage any other war against the Evangelical orthodox Church, eastern Catholic rite to which the charismatic Bishop Kibuuka Jacinto of Mamre international prayer center namugongo Janda subscribes to.
The revelation is contained in the consent judgement where both parties have agreed to desist from any kind of attack to each other’ religion or it’s leaders.
Bishop Kibuuka Jacinto had sued the Uganda Catholic lawyers society, the Kalungu east legislator Joseph Gonzanga Ssewungu and the masaka district chairperson Jude Mbabali in the high court civil division for defaming, insulting and denigration of his faith the evangelical orthodox religion however the respondents asked for an out of court settlement.
“The respondents, their agents or servants or persons acting under the faith shall ceases with vilification of the applicants faith. The evangelical orthodox Catholic of the eastern Catholic rite to wit: making religious insults, defamation of the faith and or it’s leaders, denigration of the Evangelical orthodox religion. Offending religious feelings of the faith or it’s members or the contempt of religion and making hate speech against it’s leaders” read the consent judgement in parts.
The consent judgement is issued on the 8th day of 2018 signed by Kibuuka’s lawyers of Wameli and Co advocates and the respondent’s lawyer Ssemwanga muwazi and Co advocates and the judge.
