Senior partner at kmt advocates and former employee of council for African policy CAP, Simon Peter Kinobe was on Saturday evening elected the new president Uganda Law Society ULS after gunning 760 Votes while his counterpart Alice Namuli Blazevik gunned 268 while seven vote were invalid votes at imperial resort beach hotel entebbe thus replacing Francis Gimara.
In his victory speech Mr Kinobe pledged to work for unit in all aspects and to pick from his fellow contenders Alice Namuli’ wealth experience.
“I believe in building bridges and next week will be directed towards that endeavor. Let’s work together to improve the society we want .
My next business is to sit down with namuli and pick from her wealth of experience to better run the ULS” said Kinobe
In the same way Justice Solome Bbosa who also sworn in Kinobe commended the ULS elections committee, former leadership for running a transparent elections. Adding that leadership is not about self but a service.
