McKinstry yesterday at Fufa House Mengo named the local based players to make the final squad to face South Sudan in the AFCON Qualifiers 2021 Cameroon in a double header of home and away games in November.  Uganda vs South Sudan – November 12, St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende South Sudan vs Uganda November 16, Nyayo Stadium, Nairobi.

KCCA FC, URA, VIPERS SC are the clubs which provided the players to the national team Goalkeeper Charles Lukwago(KCCA FC), defenders Halid Lwaliwa(VIPERS SC), Disan Galiwango(VIPERS SC), Patrick Mbowa(URA FC), midfielders Shafik Kagimu(URA FC), Karim Watambala(VIPERS SC) and forward Brian Aheebwa(KCCA FC)

Cranes also yesterday had a friendly match against KCCA FC in the closed doors which ended in a 1-1 draw at Star Times stadium Lugogo, the Ankoole king Brain Aheebwa scored for Cranes (P) while talented Julius Poloto (P) scored for KCCA FC
