UNEB releases withheld PLE results for 7 schools



Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has released results of seven schools out of the 27 schools whose primary leaving examinations for 2017 where with held on grounds of copying.

Some of the schools whose results has been released include¬† Hope Lives Primary School in Alebtong district, Buwooya primary School in Iganga, Bunaiga primary school, Christ Aid Primary school, Rutooma ‘B’ primary school all in Kabarole districts, Seeta Parents Primary school in Mukono district and Kisakye Primary school in Buyende district.
According to the UNEB chairperson, Prof Mary Okwakol, investigation into the remain schools is still ongoing and final report on the same is due for Friday 19th February.

It should be noted that 646,190 pupils who sat for 2017 PLE,  57,198 got first grade 293,977, 128,573, 91,504 passed in second, third and fourth grade respectively while 57,354 failed.
